clients with the gay publishing field.
Advertising sales related duties will include developing
and pitching integrated marketing and advertising programs
companies and agencies.
We are looking for superior tactical, analytical, organizational,
and relationship-management skills. The role entails development
and implementation of a sound market sales strategy.
**1-2 years national ad sales experience required.
Candidates should be outgoing, well organized and self-starters.
Detailed knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential,
and familiarity with the gay-market is a plus. Candidates
should have excellent oral and written communication skills,
as well as strong presentation skills. Business travel may
be required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, grow, manage and maintain a base of strategic
advertising partners through a consultative/marketing solutions
approach to selling.
- Cultivating and reinforcing advertisers/agency relationships
to increase advertising revenue through outstanding customer
service.
- Completing RFP's. Prospecting and breaking new accounts,
as well as servicing existing accounts within various categories.
- Minimum years experience required: 1-3 years print advertising
sales and preferably 2-3 years in sales-related marketing/advertising.
Education: BA/BS minimum.
